GTI: A Project Management Transformation with OOTI

GTI, a technical engineering firm based in French Guiana, specializes in project management for building construction and public works. With a team fluctuating between 20 and 25 people depending on the projects, GTI and GIG had been managing their operations through rather traditional methods until recently. Both agencies primarily relied on Excel spreadsheets for forecasting and invoicing, an approach that, while functional, lacked flexibility and efficiency in the context of complex and large-scale projects.
In search of a more suitable solution, GTI and GIG tested a project management software, but it turned out to be too cumbersome and unintuitive for their specific needs. The software failed to integrate seamlessly into the companies' processes, leading them to revert to their previous methods. However, the need for a more efficient solution for contractual tracking and invoicing remained pressing.

Adopting OOTI

Implementation and Use

For the past year, both firms have been using OOTI to manage all contractual aspects, operational project tracking, and invoicing. The integration went smoothly, and within a few months, more than 150 operations were migrated to the platform!

Although not all of OOTI's features have been fully utilized yet, GTI and GIG are now proficient in contractual management, leave management, expense reports, and invoicing. Both agencies plan to extend their use of OOTI in the medium and long term.
